i just got a large size rally pack for some trips. it's 10''x13''x17"...the big one. since i ride solo, i'm plannin to velcro it to the sissy bar. is there a better way to secure it to the b-itch seat? is originally designed for luggage rack, but this bike didnt come with 1, and i cant afford to add 1 on right now.

maybe u could use the web straps to hook em around the turn signals besides using the velcro straps. that's a pretty big pack for sure. when it comes to tyin things down, 'too much' is 'just right' at times. ;)

Flip it around so it sits on the seat, then strap it to the sissy bar. Use a couple of good bungies or straps to tie it down to the seat, or the frame under the seat. An extra strap or two around the bag and the sissy bar is good. I don't trust Velcro. The extra straps won't take any extra space, will make sure your bag doesn't shift on turns, and can be real handy if you come back from a trip with more than when you left.
