I use tampons now, and I LOVE Tampax Pearl.

Best pads = Always Thin w/ Wings
Best tampon = Tampax or OB

I like the Stayfree Ultra Max it is really absorbent and it comes in a variety of sizes. As for tampons I don't use them but my sister likes the Tampax Pearl. Just make sure you are using the right absorbency for your cycle.
