and also will they eat trpical fish granules bye terta. Will a pirana eat a pike or vice versa cuz i just bought both, they are both babies

its not one of those pirahnas that gets as big as ure hand and the fish guy said that if anything the pike would kill the pirhana

The guy was probably right. Piranha are not mean or aggressive fish and especially when kept alone or not with other piranha. Pike on the other hand are aggressive , very territorial fish that will kill anything entering it's territory. If by chance the pike gets sick or injured, that's when the pirahna will jump it and kill it. Odds are very good that before too long one of these fish will be dead. You should have researched the fish before buying them.
Piranha will eat some pellets and the like but must have some meat in their diet as well. Fish or fish filets are the best bet.

if it is a pacu then it is a vegetarian if a reg pirhana then you could try a variety of feeder fish. u might even try tainting the water with a lil hamburger package blood for stimulation.

a pirhanna loves goldfish i would get the smallest goldfish at first and then move to the bigger feeding goldfish... but yes i would not put a pirhanna with anything but another pirhanna they will eat anything i know a pirhanna that ate a picossamus sucker fish and it was 4 times bigger than him they will even chew on one another... hope this helps
