Who would win?

Question

After reading a question regarding a fight between Yoda and Gandalf, I started thinking. This question is only for those who have read the BOOKS! In a battle of wills alone, who would win between Aragorn and Yoda.
My personal opinion is Aragorn because of the whole palantir thing, among several other things. But I'm really interested to hear your opinions.

Keep in mind, I'm not asking anything about lightsabers, weapons or actual fighting of ANY kind. What I'm asking is strictly a battle of WILLS. Who has greater fortitude of mind?
Lightsabers don't enter into it.

In a battle of wills, I think you still have to give it to Yoda. He's a Jedi Master. He can control others wills. Look at the job Obi Wan did on the soldiers when they stopped Luke and the 'droids. Jedi Masters are so strong-willed, they can control the wills of others.

Aragon is a strong willed character as well, but when you have the power of the force behind you, I think that wins the day. When your will can levitate a space craft out of the swamp, that's one strong will.

Both characters had strength beyond mere mortals and I would hate to have either against me (wouldn't have to worry though, both were good). Both were tempted by the dark forces of their worlds and neither gave in. But, I still give an edge to Yoda.

just to say nothing can over come the force how ever if Yoda did lose his connection to the force suddenly and had no lightsaber then i believe Aragorn would have a shot saying he lost his weapons too however with weapons Yoda wins hands down

They could not battle. They are both on the side of good.

If they did, Yoda has a light saber which would block anything Aragorn could throw at him, he can levitate, etc. Yoda wins.
