Does anyone even know who these people are? I just got Tony Bennett tickets and I think only two people that I work with know who he is. Its kinda sad.

By the way, I'm not very old. Just appreciate all kinds of music.

First, please let me say...it's so refreshing to know there are others out there younger than 50 who appreciate good music. Both Tony Bennett and the late GREAT Bobby Darin are singers probably better known by our parents or grandparents' generations, for songs more so in the genre of standards. Both are/were so talented. Both have distinctive voices. While I deeply admire Tony Bennett and love his music, my hat is off to Bobby Darin, one of the most all-around talented and highly underrated entertainers in history. He could do it all, and gave his all with every effort. He was so diverse as well, mastering music in nearly every genre. He died too young tragically, but he left an impressive legacy with such a rich treasury of music for people of all walks of life to enjoy.

(For the record, I dig Kevin Spacey--he did a great job of portraying Bobby and singing; it's obvious he's a fan. Yes, he did Bobby justice, but it barely brushed the surface. How much could we learn about such a legend in a mere couple of hours? It should not have been so much about the personal life as about his true love, the music. Same goes for Sinatra, for that matter...sorry to ramble on so on another tangent.)

I like Tony Bennet...not my favorite, but a good singer. I prefer Bobby Darin - particularly "If I Was a Carpenter"...one of the sweetest songs ever, and "Splish, Splash," which can always get me dancing.

Your co-workers would likely recognize some of their songs if they heard them.

I too am not from the generation that saw their music in its prime, but I've always loved the crooners. ;-)

You don't have to like people to know of them. I don't like Tony Bennet. Bobby Darin was okay, before he went "caberet" I think it's a little strange for people not to know such famous worldwide artists
