I just found out that I didn't get the CSR position that I interviewed for. :o( It kind of makes me sad. I've been working a temp position for this company for a while now, and was originally just interviewing to stay the receptionist. Well, they said basically that I was over qualified for a receptionist. They wanted to try to put me in a customer service position. They built me up about it just to watch me crash. They don't even know if they are going to keep the receptionist position. They said if they do, they won't even interview, that they will keep me. Is that supposed to make me feel better??? I'm just sad.

You know what Tori? When something like that happens, it never fails that something BETTER always comes along! Hang in there and trust me, it will happen!

Look for something elsewhere and I'm sure you'll be alot happier and you'll get promoted in no time at all! That'll show 'em!!!!!

Tori dear, look at it this way. It is their loss that they did not hire, or create a position for a person as beautiful, intelligent and well mannered a young lady as you, who is a class act if there ever was one. You will have no problem interviewing for a better job and get it on your personality alone. Don't be sad baby. Would you like to go to Paris with me for a couple of days so that I can talk some sense into you and we can come home and get married? I love you more than life, If you are still sad, after all of this, I give up.

Don't let it get to you. That is normal policy coming from management. They usually pick the stupidest person to fill a position. I sometimes think they are more concerned with how much buttkissing you can do than wether you are an excellent choice for a job. So, take it easy...remember, you are worth more,and good things you deserve. You will get them!!!!! Be confident!!!

Well, lets see Customer Service isn't all its cracked up to be so I wouldnt waste your tears on something like that. There are bigger things in life to be upset about! I would find a new company to work for, temp agencies don't really care about YOUR job, they care about keeping their clients happy! Hope this helps!! Good luck! Dump those hoochies. You deserve better than the run-around. I bet they are paying you chicken-feed wages and no benefits. They are saving themselves a bunch of money by devaluing and abusing your talents!!!

It sounds to me like they recognize you for the smart, talented go-getter that you are. They want to put you somewhere where your talents can be utilized and not wasted. You are precious Tori and if they don't see that - then you don't want to work there. Chin up sweetie!!
