I do make up for wedding parties. I always use foundation on the eyelids as a base as it holds the eyeshadow on the lid for longer. If i want a more natural look a still use eyeshadow but just softer colours and lighter mascara. For evening looks i use thicker mascara and darker eyeshadow. Also a good trick is to use a white eyeliner or eyeshadow and use it just under the eyebrow(blend it): it makes the eyes look brighter.

That's great! I do the same- not only it provides for a more natural look, but it also helps provide something (like a base) for the eyeshadows/pigments to grab onto and stay put throughout the day...

I used to only because eye shadow would always cake and crease. However, if foundation is used to help reduce the eye shadow crease effect, there is a product through Mary Kay called eye primer. This reduces the amount of oil your eyelids produce and helps your eye shadow cling and last longer on your eyes.

Yes, most definitly. I never use eyeshadows, I feel I look better without it and I think eyeliner is enough with foundation and lipgloss. I think some people look better with or without eyeshadow. I think its too much sometimes. Just my opinion.

You can actually use natural shades of eye shadow. especially night time you can use a beige color with shimmer and just eye liner and a mascara. eye liner and mascara makes your eyes pop and you'll still look natural.
