u wont get ur cash back...the bike is now ur's. or u could sell it and make it back up, but even with 4 miles on it, it's still a used bike. buyers of used bikes will pretty much plunk down what they think will be fair....and yanno, they just might not give u everything u want out of the scoot either.

You got screwed through your lack of experience, nothing else. You needed to address these during your negotiation of the final price.
Freight: I'm not paying for shipping, it's here.
Destination: same thing, it's here.
Assembly: It's already put together (if you take one from the floor)
$179.00 is a lot for a quick wipe with a rag and some spray shine.
You can't take it back, you signed the agreement. If you try and get the charges reduced, it may affect how they help you later. Unless you find another dealer, you have to go back for service.

I think u did!
I purchased a brand new 2007 Vulcan 900 Custom on January and they waive the shipping, assembling, prep and even most of the tax and title!!! $7500 out the door!!!
Bike retails for $7349 + all fees, I only paid $7500 out the door.
First they did wanted to get the most out of me but we were able to work things out. I'm glad we did!
About taking it back I don't know if you still can but read your contract and make sure you understand it before you go to the dealer.

You wont be able to take the bike back. They wont give you anything. You signed the paperwork which had the final cost on it. Next time you should do more research before making such a large purchase. I know it sucks to hear that but you made the decision to go ahead with the purchase. You weren't forced.

No, ripping people off is standard practice with bikes.
Don't try to take it back, they'll just laugh and you'll feel like an idiot.
Next time ask for the "out the door price" up front, and get it in writing before they get any money.

Yeah, take it back. Make sure you can find evidence that they never said that you would be charged all those fees.It seems so screwed up, but thats how busines works. their tricky. Sometimes theyll drop the price on bikes as long as you take the bike then and their. this is because once the bike leaves the dealer, they get paid. They a money hungry and dont give a s@#% if you get charged for stuff you can't afford.

Not very screwed, yes, they do add about $1000 for all the charges. The local K. dealer here discloses these charges up front. Your dealer should have given you the bottom line.

Did they hold a gun to your head to make you buy it? It's not their problem that you can't decide if that bike was worth that much or not. If you're too dumb to look at the price when you sign a contract you better just relax and enjoy getting shagged.

Take it back ASAP! Get another one from a respectful dealer if you can find one. Most states....maybe a federal deal too. You can return a "major" purchase within 72 hours and get your money back no questions asked. If they don't believe you call a lawyer.
Good Luck dude~
