Thinking about buying a Ford Escape Hybrid. Would anyone recommend it and is it a great vehicle for the price? Possibly buying it on Memorial Weekend for the deals.

i have 2 kids too. one who is 4 and one 8months. i don't think a hovercraft would work...

Kacey, yiou must not have kids. My small chevy cavalier doesn't have enough room in it trying to go grocery shopping with 2 kids..... it's aweful. I like everything I saw about the Escape Hybrid. I wanted to know if anyone has one or knows anyone that could say yeah or nay to the vehicle for me...

Yes, it's good for the price, but if price is your main consideration, as well as low emissions and MPG, there are plenty of more efficient, clean-burning vehicles out there that are also less expensive. Honda Civic, Hyundai, etc. Ask yourself what really matters to you. At the end of the day, if you just really like the Escape, go for it!Car buying can't be all rational.

the higher sticker price on a hybrid would not save you much money on using less gas. go online and buy a hovercraft. it's cheaper ($15K), very fuel efficient and can be made street legal by adding turn signal lights, windshield wipers and a seatbelt. plus, all the attention you'd get...

It's a fine set of wheels, but why do you need an SUV, even if a small one? Wouldn't a Camry Hybrid do?

it is a Ford so all that money you save in gas will hit you hard in repair bills
