just be yourself, & engage in activities or hobbies that u enjoy, & u are bound to meet other interesting people...u might want to join a club or organization for one of your favorite interests, it`s a good way to find others that enjoy the same type of thing...

It's hard. Maybe join a club or group, or form a hobby that meets once a week - like a waterpainting club. That's always a good way of meeting people.
