The key is to put in stuff that would make the employer want to hire you. Education, activities, volunteer work and skills are all good.

You're obviously getting into an entry-level job, so your employer isn't expecting you to have experience. You will be expected to be reliable, learn fast, have good judgment and a good attitude. That's what the hiring manager will be looking for in your resume and your interview, so anything that shows you have those qualities will be helpful.

As a high schooler, what is in your resume isn't nearly as important as how it is presented. In other words, make sure there are no spelling or grammatical errors. Second, dress well when you pick up an application, and when you deliver the resume.

When you meet the hiring manager, speak correct english. No slang, no profanity, and no mumbling.

Act like you want the job, and you will probably get the job.

Go on the internet and look up common interview questions then practice your answers. This will really help you come across as a good applicant.
