1. Mol is a unit, like grams, liters, or Watts. Without the unit of mol, scietists/chemists would not have the ability to quantify the amount of a substance.
2. Boyle's Law states that pressure is inversely related to volume. Meaning, as pressure increases, volume decreases (if temperature remains constant), and vice-versa.Hence, he came up with the equation, P1V1 = P2V2
3. Charle's Law states that volume is directly proportional to temperature. Meaning as temperature increases, volume also increases (pressure remaining constant). V1/T1 = V2/T2.
4. PV = nRT
5. 1 mole = 6.02 x 10^22 molecule or atoms. 1 mol = 22.4 L. 1 mole = the molecular weight of an element in grams.
