Look into the evening stars, is my advice to you, when you are alone and have time to think, and realize how tiny and insignificant you are. Realize how tiny and insignificant each of us is. This will help you regain your perspective. The day will come again for you, and dawn will brighten your life, and your husband will find work and all will be well. Perhaps the best that any of us can do when feeling down and low is to be nice to those around us. Be kind to your mother-in-law. She is old and alone and tiny beneath the stars, just as you are. The dawn will come girl!! Just be aware of that and wait patiently. Please know that you will remain in my thoughts. I will try to rush the dawn for you.

Since he cant find work wherever you are, why not both of you pack up and go someplace where there's work for you both?
It's a matter of survival. Leave the darkness behind.

This is what I do:
Pray hard.
Do some volunteer work and try to keep busy with helping others. Ultimately it helps me too.
Never lose hope.

If all else fails-don't live with your Mother-in-law!
