Many people enjoy a puppy or kitty licking thier face...personally I find it disgusting, reason is: they use their tounge as toilet papper. I don't mind a cat or dog licking my hand my please stay away from my face.

I don't like it but it's not just because they use their tongue as toilet paper. I just hate getting my face wet with slime. It's 'cute' that they want to lick my face but it makes me feel icky. I'm ok with the hand licking because I can easily wash my hands right away.

well dogs mouths aren't really cleaner than humans, despite the urban legend, but since most of their germs and bacteria are species specific, they wouldn't transfer to you. so in actuality you're more likely to get an illness from letting a friend lick your face than you would from a dog licking your face.
