What's your idea of a fat woman? Even that varies between individuals. I am a misses' size 12 or juniors' size 15; is that fat? To some it is. I wear low-rise jeans because I have an inflamed rib cartilage that causes extreme pain when regular rise jeans' waistbands impinge upon it. Does that bother you if you have to witness it? There are many reasons for people to wear low-rise jeans besides the idea of looking fashionable. They are more comfortable for some than regular jeans. Personally, I won't sacrifice my comfort just so I don't offend your sight.

I agree with Muffin84 !Just because they make it in your size does not mean you should wear it!
Fat chicks in low rise jeans or spaghetti straps you look like busted open can of biskits! EWWW!
And yes I'm a fat gril! I'm built for comfort not for speed!
P.S. I'm goin for the Lap band in a week .Yeah me!

My opinion is any woman with low rise jeans, wants to "raise" her lower part of the body, because her upper part of her body has nothing to offer.
I think they are very insecure. No matter if they are thin as toothpicks or chubbier!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a woman of considerable weight and I would never wear anything like that. I have seen women who do and I want to go to them and ask if they really know what they look like. But it is not my place or yours to dictate what anyone no matter what their size wears.

That it isnt there fault because lowrise jeans is all the clothes companies make, no matter what size you are.
