hes horrible, and still in the competition its ridiculous. the sad thing is he thinks hes good. hes in his own little world and has no sense of reality. i hope he gets kicked off the show tonight, hes a disgrace to music.

Sure Sanjaya is horrible. But let's face it -- all of the men have been putting on a crap-fest this year.
Blake is clearly the best of the men. But compare him to last year's men. He isn't even in the same league as Daughtry or Elliott. Taylor is better. Even Bucky is as good or better. Blake is only marginally better than Ace (whom I hated) or Kevin (who needed a few more years). So -- even the best of this year's men would be long gone last year.
Bottom line -- Chris R, Chris S, Phil, Sanjaya and Haley don't belong in the finals. Does it really matter which one of them goes first?

Howard Stern has asked his listeners to continue to vote for Sanjaya just to screw up the American Idol thing. There is also a web site devoted to the same cause.
I think under these unfortunate circumstances we must avoid hating Sanjaya. True - he's not the best singer, but he's just a 17 year old kid who loves to sing and is trying to catch a lucky break. Who can blame him? What I don't understand is why Howard Stern, who has even less talent than Sanjaya, is bothering himself with this American Idol thing. Howard has caught his break, he's already making his millions. Why is he trying to ruin it for others? It's Howard Stern you should be hating, not Sanjaya. Sanjaya has a dream and is pursuing it. That's what we all should be doing. Think about it. Sanjaya has been getting terrible reviews, Simon beats him up every week, Stern is making life even more difficult for him and the other contestants, yet he still goes out there with a genuine smile and gives it all he's got!!!! I admire ANYONE who can go up against all those odds with the cheerful spirit that he does! And, Tuesday night, he said "I want to show everyone that I CAN sing." And I for one think he did just that! His performance was actually good! I'd love to see him pull off a rich success so that this whole thing would backfire in Stern's face! (Which is not nearly as pleasing to look at as Sanjaya's!)
So, Consider what this sweet 17 year old boy is up against before you "hate" him.
Atleast Sanjaya is trying to win this thing with his vocal talent, unlike some other contestants who are trying to slut there way into a win in hopes that we will overlook their lack of vocal skills!!!
GO SANJAYA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One last thought:
The contestants this season are so predictable, isn't Sanjaya the real reason we're all tuning in? If it weren't for him, missing an episode would be just fine with me...no big loss.

I can't stand him. He is just a ordinary kid with hardly any vocal talent. Everyone else left has vocal talent and deserves to win. If he were to put out a CD, what in the world what it sound like?
