When the sun heats up the airbecomes lighter and the cold air comes down and its that movement in air makes the wind. You might ask what about in the night but the sun never sets down. some part of the earth has the sun shining. Moreover this the same reason why waves happen and also wind help the wave.

and your question is not crazy. Its pretty scientific.

Its caused by the moons gravitational pull towards the Earth keeping it circulating the planet, the pull also causes waves.
If the moon was to be destroyed all hell would break loose on earth, natural disasters would be constant, volcano eruptions, flash floods, hurricanes, tornados etc.

Wow Im pretty clever, I guess some information does go into my head :) woo for me orrrrr im seriously skilled at making things up in my head

Edit: Both the Earth moving (spinning) and gravity affect the wind. But the primary cause of the wind is temperature differences, not the moving of the Earth or gravity. http://helios.gsfc.nasa.gov/qa_earth.html#wind

Air is set in motion by the Pressure Gradient Force, this is a flow flow from high pressure to low pressure. In nature, regions of excess move towards regions of deficit (from the second law of thermodynamics). The result of trying to balance and equalize pressure results in wind.

Wind is formed when air is forced from a high pressure system to a low pressure system, and aided by the jet stream

The backside.

A strong wind (gale) is a collection of smaller winds.

Isn't it something to do with the warm air rising & the cool air falling, they push each other & cause the wind? I don't think I said it right, but something to do with the temperature changes of the air.

No, you aren't crazy, that is one of the questions folks have been asking for centuries, without a good answer. There may be scientific explanations for it, but my answer is to do some research for yourself. I will too, and see what scientists say.
