im kinda getting obsessed, and i will imagine him as my father sometimes though i love MY father so it confuses me

My gf used to be attracted to her stepdad.
So I guess it is ok, just leave it where it is.

It's extremely normal. Most young women are attracted to men that could be their fathers age, nor the father figure thing. It is a common thing. My guess is that this hasn't been an obsession too long. It will die out over time, don't worry. Don't be afraid to find new things too, but don't feel bad about it.

Maybe there's something missing in your relationship with your father, that you're noticing in this man, talk to your father more often and find out what's happening between you two. Be careful, I mean I don't know for how long you've met this man but if you love your dad so much I don't see why you're looking up to other father figures.

I do hope you mean admire rather than attracted to the older man. You wouldn't want to send out the wrong impression of yourself. Yes..you can admire someone as a father figure and still love you own dad.

It is totally normal for you to feel that way. Don't worry about it, it will pass in its own time. Don't feel bad or weird about yourself for having the feelings.
It would be a complete disaster for you to act in any way on those feelings. That also means you should not say anything to the guy about how you feel. He may be a nice guy, but if he was looking to take advantage of you and he knew how you felt it would be much easier for him to take advantage.
You should probably limit how much time you spend around the guy as well.

It happens a lot. A lot of folks may be going eewww but it's more common than you think.
Just use your common sense and mind your manners and don't spend time alone with him, because that wouldn't be proper.
Take up a hobby! Hang with your girlfriends and take it easy.
