Even though, by what you are detailing here, it is very improbable, it is still possible. The body works in weird ways. I know that, on my first pregnancy, I had my period for two months and didn't know i was preggo. Of course it wasn't really my period, but it looked at felt like it. I was almost three months preggo when I knew for sure. Every woman is different. The best thing to do in this case is to wait it out. If she doesn't have her period again next month, maybe its about time to test at home. A home-pregnancy-test is the best way to find out for sure. However, there is no need to even do one until you are pretty sure she could be preggo. If the symptoms of swelling and tiredness persist, it could be a sign that you should have a test, or it could just be that she is getting a touch of the flu. Good Luck!

Many signs of pregnancy are the same as symptoms of a period. The chance that she could be pregnant is very, very small.
I would think that she is just misinterpreting the normal period swelling and tenderness because she either wants to be pregnant or is scared that she is pregnant.

The tirerdness and swelling is her being on her period. While it can happen she is most likely not pregnant. You have probably a .5% chance of that happening. While we are on the subject (not to be annoying) is she on birth control? Do you were condoms? To save yourself from this worry in the future it would be best to use some birth control. I'm just trying to be helpful not sarcastic or mean. Good luck.

Mmmmmmm Not likely. Some women have regular periods while they're pregnant. But the test yesterday should be accurate, it's been long enough. Maybe it's something else. She should see a doctor.

If a woman thinks she is pregnant enough her body will begin to have symptoms of pregnancy. The birth control pill can also cause pregnancy symptoms. Pregnancy tests are pretty acurate, she probably isn't.

If she's had a period and the test says no but she thinks she is having symptoms anyway; She needs to go to her GYN and get checked.
It is highly improbable that she is pregnant but not out of possibility either.

If she had her period after you had sex and her test was negative is probably not pregnant. Sounds like PMS, since it is about time for her period again.

she could be. it takes a little while for the pregnancy hormone to be released into the urine. and her period wouldhave been started, inside, before you had sex saturday. you'll have to wait it out and test again.

very doubtful. from what i've read and heard, you can only get pregnant just before and during ovulation. and that is usually about 14 days after the 1st day of your period. i highly doubt she is.
