This "Check Spelling" option on Yahoo! Answers ain't worth it!
I often make spelling mistakes on purpose to see if it actually does work but it never picks up on it!?!
What's up with that?!?
P.S. Spell checkers who cannot spell are an aberration in terms!!!

I think people should just actually go to school and learn how to spell properly and not depend on spell checking programs.
Personally the spell check on my explorer does nothing for me since it's american and I don't speak american. I speak Canadian which is proper and not a lazy man's way of spelling.

well I can't be mean because I get in a hurry and I miss spell words all the time. I over look others, but I did have a Brit that gave me a great answer score last week but she burnt my behind up over my spelling and my wording.

I'm not here to check peoples spelling, I'm here to have fun. Spell check is for more important things like business letters and class work!

I wonder about those that don't use it. Problem with spell check is if it's a word it will be cleared, even if it's the wrong word.

spelling and grammar are not important to everyone. i spellcheck as a courtesy to those who take the time to read my posts. but typos do happen. as long as the message is clear, i don't complain.
