A heat lamp produces infrared (not ultraviolet) radiation, and it is not harmful. If properly and safely installed, it is a good way to help you feel warmer using less energy than heating up a whole room. But the higher temperature helps the mold grow better.
There are two good solutions to the mold problem. First, clean the shower and keep it clean. Second, install an exhaust fan vented to the outside, with a timer so you can leave it on for a few minutes after you finish your shower.

1st of all, a heat lamp puts out hardly any UV at all. You would get a LOT more from a standard incandescant light bulb.
However, the heat won't do you much good without decent ventilation to exhaust the saturated air. In this case, it would probably accelerate the mold growth if the moisture is still present.
I would recommend a good scrub-down with some anti-mold or bleach containing agent, then use that Clean Shower spray or something similar after every shower or bath. It uses a very mild and safe surfactant (soap) to inhibit mold and mildew growth and prevent lime/scale buildup.
Putting a window fan in the doorway afterward would help a lot, too- it would remove the saturated air so the water could evaporate more quickly, giving the mold less time to grow.

All you need to do is clean off the mold with a suitable cleaner that can be bought in most supermarkets.
When it's cleaned, make sure all water is dried off and, after showering, dry the shower walls, floor, door and equipment thoroughly. Pay particular attention to the shower curtain which seems to pick up mold very quickly...take it down and flatten it out and dry it thoroughly. The mold should not return... it's the dampness that causes it..
Having a heat or UV lamp in the shower is not a good idea. Remember that electricity and water don't mix ..very dangerous. Only electrical appliances that are sealed against moisture should be used in the shower/bath room

lots of people have the heat lamps in the bathroom no its fine . you could put in a fan to vent to the outside or just a regular fan and leave the door open . or put a dehumidifier in .
the best way to solve this problem is to have cross flow ventilation . this could be done with vans that vent to the outside or all manner of ways but vents are the best.
even put a vent in the door just cut a hole put a vent cover on it and there you go some improvement.
