You shouldn't be showing any of the symptoms of being pregnant 5 days before your first "missed" period. Here is a list of when to expect pregnancy symptoms http://birthingnaturally.net/trimester/first/signs.html. If you are feeling pregnancy symptoms, then you should be further along than one or two weeks gestation.
Also, if it helps, implantation happens around day 10 after conception http://www.birthingnaturally.net/pregnant/mbm/one.html so if you do the math you can get a better idea if this is implantation bleeding.
Good Luck

correct me if im wrong but arnt you suppose to miss a period before theres a chance you could be pregnant, not bleed before your due and think your pregnant
It's impossible to say for sure at this stage. If your period is usually right on schedule and you are now late, you might well be pregnant. On the other hand, it's not uncommon for women to get their period a few days late sometimes.
If the suspense is too much for you to bear, consider taking a home pregnancy test. Pregnancy tests detect the presence of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), a hormone produced around the time the fertilised egg implants in your womb. Your hCG levels rise sharply thereafter.
Home tests are able to detect fairly low levels of hCG. It's best to do them with your first urine of the day because it's more concentrated, so should contain more hCG. Follow the directions carefully, and you might get a result this early. If you get a negative result, but your period doesn't still doesn't arrive, you might want to try doing another test after a few days.
Lots of women have pregnancy symptoms early on, though not usually until two weeks after a missed period. Sore, tingly or tender breasts may be your earliest indicator, although some women feel this way before each period. Nausea and fatigue are other common symptoms, and so is a need to wee more frequently.
Implantation (when the embryo attaches itself to the lining of the womb) can sometimes cause spotting. Eight per cent of pregnant women have a brief episode of light bleeding on or before the 40th day of pregnancy, counting from the first day of your last period. If, however, you have other symptoms, such as a one-sided pain low down in your tummy, see your midwife or doctor immediately - you could have an ectopic pregnancy (when the embryo implants in the Fallopian tube rather than the womb). Bleeding with abdominal pain may also be a sign of an impending miscarriage, but that certainly isn't true in every case.
Finally, it's possible that the blood you saw may have nothing to do with pregnancy. Your cervix could be inflamed and bleed easily, especially after cervical smears, internal examinations or sex. Or you may have an infection - either way, it's always important to report any bleeding between periods or after sex to your doctor.

More than likely if your pregnant the bleeding your experiencing is called implantation bleeding, a HPT COULD possibly show + at this point, some HPT's detect the hormone as early as 5 days before your period.
I believe first response is one of them

If you are looking for the secret to getting pregnant naturally you could be in for a rough ride. You can talk to experts, doctors or friends, and each will have their own take on getting pregnant, but this does not mean that the same ideas and techniques will work for you. Every couple is different, and this means that there is not a single secret that everyone experiences to getting pregnant naturally.
Position For Getting Pregnant Naturally
One of the most commonly discussed aspects of getting pregnant involves the position when you make love. While some people may tell you their best, Kama Sutra position for getting pregnant, I tend to take a more pragmatic and natural approach, looking at the physics of the act.
While you may have your preferences for the best and most enjoyable sexual position, the Kama Sutra is not a handbook on getting pregnant naturally! Many couples have had success with the most common sexual position, with the man on top and the woman beneath, because after the act the semen moves in the right direction if the woman continues to lie there.
Another very practical suggestion for getting pregnant is for the woman to insert a tampon after the sexual act, thereby trapping semen in the place where you want it for getting pregnant naturally. This is a practical, proven and time-honored method, so before you try anything fancy get back to basics and look at your positioning for getting pregnant.
Timing For Getting Pregnant Naturally
The timing for getting pregnant naturally in a woman's cycle often varies from woman to woman, but there are a few general principles which hold true. You can use temperature, moods or mucus consistency to judge the best timing, but the best method is probably the combination of all three. Remember, all of the sex in the world at the wrong time will usually not lead to pregnancy especially if you are having trouble falling pregnant in the first place. But by carefully judging the right time in the cycle, getting pregnant can really happen.
Diet For Getting Pregnant Naturally
You are an entire person not just a uterus, so getting pregnant naturally is a function of your entire body. This means that eating and drinking healthy can affect your ability to fall pregnant. Therefore, if you are interested in getting pregnant, try to avoid high acidic, high fat foods, and especially avoid things like smoking and alcohol, which almost never enhance your ability to fall pregnant (that is if you don't class getting drunk and a one night stand as getting pregnant naturally!)
By paying careful attention to your diet, timing and sexual positions you can have a positive effect on your fertility, even if you have been unsuccessful to this point. Sure, there are other less natural methods of falling pregnant, but these should not be pursued until you have tried every means possible of getting pregnant naturally.
Getting pregnant naturally it actually possible with the right advice! Are you fertile, or looking for reasons for infertility? Don't give up, but check out our amazing information and free blog at Best Day To Get Pregnant!

5 days isn't so early that it could just be your period. It happens sometimes even if you are really regular that you can get your period early. Answer early pregnancy test and AccuClear detect the lowest HcG hormones so if you are really worried take one of those in the morning...Wait it out...or call a doctor.

It could be implantation bleeding.
If you are having spotting or minimal blood flow, then this could be the culprit.
It is not too early if you are within 3-4 days of starting your period. EPT can detect the horomone within that time (check the box to make sure).
Good luck !: )

no, implantation bleeding isnt that common although its not uncommon either! if you get it, it will be very very light spotting, quite pinkish in colour and not at all like a normal period. whats more common is to get implantation cramps, which you can mistake for menstrual cramps...i remember i was doubled up in agony with this before i found out i was pregnant, and put it down to bad period pain. but then i found out what it was. good luck with it all, and lots of baby dust to you! ********************** xxxxxxx
