Giving an early thumbs up or thumbs down to an answerer only to find that they edited their answer and it did not read the way it did when you first read it? Just wondering.

I have never had it happen, but this moves so fast and you have to go in and then go back in sometimes that I was just curious.

I do not regret.
However, having rated an answer and then returned to it later,it was not always obvious that the answer deserved my initial rating. I assumed this was due the vagaries of my memory and mood.
I realise now this could all be a subtle ploy.Bet "they" all just edit to confound me!
I'm strangle comforted to realise "they" do it to others as well.
I shall endeavour not to be fooled! I intend to thumbs down the lot of 'em next time regardless. (present company excepted)
