none, but there is abundant proof that it will continue even if outlawed

Abortion has been practiced since women found themselves with unwanted pregnancies. Animals that don't want or can't care for their young practice infanticide. It seems to be something that is part of our physiology.
It won't stop it if you ban it. The poor will use the back alley and coat hanger route and end up severely injured or dead. The rich will jump on a jet and fly to a country where it is legal. This is what happened when it was illegal.
The best way to reduce abortion would be to educate women and to provide free and effective birth control.

As with everything the government bans, it would simply create a black market for it. Look at prohibition...that worked out really well. Look at the banning of drugs, again worked out great. Banning abortion would only send it underground and in all probability make it less safe and clean for the mothers than it would be if done legally.
Why don't we quit banning things based on one side of the populations worn-out beliefs and realize it is no one's job but mine to run my own life and do the things I want to do as long as I hurt no one else. And don't give me this crap about hurting my family and blah blah blah. While I love my family dearly they cannot and don't try to tell me what to do with my own body.
These should be personal choices and the government should get their damned noses out of my business. Thanks and have a nice day.

None, it would not stop it.
If the Supreme Court overturns Rov v Wade then the abortion legality question goes back to the States (where it belongs IMO). Each state would make it legal or not and under what conditions.
Overturning Roe v Wade will NOT make abortion illegal across the country.

Only idiots would think banning murder would stop it.
Assuming Cain slew Able, and the resulting problems associated with that act has done nothing to change society.
Face it your an animal no amount of cosmetics and fine clothing will change the basics. You are a brutal murderous animal.

There is no proof.
The World Health Organization is saying, about 80,000 women around the world still die each year of complications from illegal abortion.

I don't think it should be banned...and Roe v Wade did not dictate that abortion be legal across the land.
It merely stated that the government cannot intrude on the private relationship between physician and patient.
Having said that, it is up to each state and their citizens to vote as to whether or not it should or should not be legal.

Banning it just makes it illegal. That never mattered to those seeking abortions before Roe V. Wade.

There isn't any. If they tried to ban it, it would just put women into serious danger. Sometimes desperation calls for desperate acts, including paying some unqualified person with a knife to do one in an alley. At least with it being legal, we can expect it to be controlled in a way and done safely.

None, and in fact making it illegal won't stop it. But it makes it possible to charge people that get abortions with murder, the doctor and the mother. This would serve as a deterrent. Plus it would be harder to get abortions, you'd have to know some shady individual capable of doing one. It would definetely decrease the number of abortions, and might possible cause people to think about the consequences of their actions before they have sex.

What proof is there that banning armed robbery would stop it?
What proof is there that banning drunk driving would stop it?
What proof is there that banning pedophilia would stop it?
What proof is there that banning murder would stop it?
You don't ban it to stop it, you ban it because it is wrong. We already accept that some people will continue the banned behavior. But one thing you can guarantee, it would happened a lot less. It would make people think twice before engaging in risky sexual relations.
