That is not correct. Most men die with prostate cancer but not from it. Most die from something else. If men are being checked by a doctor every year, it is not very likely that prostate cancer would even get that far today.

One per hour? That's 24*365 = 8760 per year. Out of a U.S. population of 300 million, that's so tiny as to hardly be noticeable, and it's definitely not shocking.

Besides, your numbers are wrong. Prostate cancer deaths are three times that much in the U.S. alone, so you really have a man dying from prostate cancer every 20 minutes. And that's just counting the U.S.

Here's a fact for you: Assuming there are 300 million Americans and half of them are male, that translates into roughly a 0.018 percent chance of dying from prostate cancer each year. I'm not too worried. Lots more people die from car crashes.

no it didnt shock me, unfortunatly unlike women and brest cancer men dont tend to get checked out by the doctor till its too late,

im not sure if its shocking or not but its true, cancer cant live in an alkaline environment, radiation and kemo both make the body more acidic so in actual fact make the body a better enviroment for cancer to live in how crazy is that, apparently if you keep your body at a purfect PH balance it is virtualy inpossable to get cancer because it just cant live but that is almost inpossable to do

You want a shocker? My brother in law had his prostate out today and he had a PSA reading of 4.6.

His urologist thought he had a calcium deposit on his prostate but ordered a biopsy just in case. The prostate was indeed cancerous.

My uncle had it but he didn't die, just had his prostate removed. Breast cancer seems to get much more attention in the news these days. I'm sure this has something to do with the fact that men (and women) can't live without those glorious boobies that jiggle and bounce around.
