Yes, I am from the USA. What is going on in the EU is not really available in the news here which pi$$es me off because I feel that people need to know what is happening in other parts of the world, and not just that Anna Nicole Smith died and two men are fighting over her daughter.

Ignorance about the rest of the world is almost pushed here in the USA. I am VERY proud of the USA except for that.

Britain is a member of the EU, and as a result England is too, as are the other states of the UK. The UK joined in the 2nd 'round' of members to join, in 1973.

The founding members (of the EEC at the time, which later became the EU) were; France, Belgium, West Germany, Italy, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.

Ireland and Denmark joined along with the UK in 1973.

Greece in 1981, Portugal and Spain in 1986, Austria, Finland and Sweden in 1995.

Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia joined in 2004 and Bulgaria and Romania in 2007.

Here is a map of the member nations of the EU; http://europa.eu/abc/european_countries/index_en.htm members are in orange, non members in light blue, countries that are being considered for membership in dark blue.

It is by itself as the British Isles out there in planet of apes.
The missing key expose they do not fit in in planet of apes.
Why they were called the United Kingdom in planet of apes.
Why the united Kingdom has to stay "United we stand, Divided we fall " in planet of apes.

If our Royal marines are part of the EU then they need to get a better miliary. Those British Marines held in Iran sold us out and even kissed the Iranian President's bum hole. COWARDS!
