You really have to be out of your mind to trade two top tier positional players,(Ichiro and A-Ram - who play 6 days a week BTW) for a 2nd tier pitcher, that only plays once a week! I know Felix pitched a gem, but let's not over-react. There are planty of pitchers (I don't care how many teams are in your league) that you can sign. I'm sure Rich Hill from CHC is a free agent, this guy will rack up 200+ Ks. And there are a bevy of players like Hill that will make an improvement to your team that won't cost you anything. Keep that roster spot flexible and rotate guys on and off your team based on match-ups (ex. anyone pitching against KC, Tampa or Pittsburgh). And as far as the guy up top that can't remember who Aramis Ramirez is??? Only a top 5 3B in fantasy baseball!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, Don't do this trade. Shop around the free agents and find some up and comers! Don't over pay for a any pitcher, even Santana, because they're still only playing once a week.

In real life, no. In fantasy, depends. Ichiro puts up numbers in categories that basically anyone can fill in and put up. As long as the rest of your team hits for a decent average, and you have some speed for run production, Felix Hernandez will add 15-20 wins and 200 Ks to your staff, which is harder to find. Feilding rarely comes into play in fantasy leagues, so concentrate on the offense.
Aramis Ramirez is a solid vote for a 30 HR 100 RBI season, however his numbers over the last 3 years are very highly inflated over his career numbers, so you have to question his ability to maintain that clip. He is a career .270 hitter with only 5 complete season since 1998.

He is probably stuck on the fact that he got 12k's yesterday and thinks he will do it every time
Aramis and Ichiro IS giving up too much it depends on how bad you need the pitching
I would say try a trade with you giving up not so much power

there is usually a top type on high quality pitching, and Felix is going to be very extreme high quality. there is an particularly deep field at 3B. Ramirez is an incredible participant, superb 5 at his place, yet you may get numerous different gamers which would be close to to if no longer equivalent to him. Hernandez, on the different team, will actually stand out and be between the excellent at his place. additionally, in basic terms a theory, whether it is incredibly puzzling to commerce away somebody coming off the form of activity Felix merely had. you would be greater effective off waiting till he has a string of undesirable video games, then making an furnish. i does no longer have prevalent that grant suited now, the two. no longer a foul furnish, yet no longer great, thinking 8 shutout innings, 12 ok's, etc.

Ya way too much. Hernandez is really not that good i can think of at least fifteen pitchers that will have better years. Ramirez will hit 30 homers and 95 RBI and Ichiro will have 200 hits so no dont do it.

Offer him up someone else other than Ichiro . Give him one of your lesser starters that show promise and may be that will do the trick but giving up a good power hitter and contact hitter is way too much . Do not let your emotions hamper you in making a bad decision. Keep yourself in control and reasoned out things. He thinks he has you on the hook so you will have to outsmart him a little.

yes. cant remember who ramirez is, i think a batter for the cubs? anyway, its like the giants giving zito 126 mil for someone whos gonna pitch only 30 times. felix isnt worth that much, even if he did shut out the a's on opening day. ichro is an all star and deserves a ring and will get another 200+ hit season, worth more than haernandez. with iciro, its almost a garuntee that he'll get 200 hits, will hernandez get 20 wins?

Yes, you're giving up way too much. For a guy who hasn't exactly proved himself in the Major Leagues, giving up a big power guy and a great avg. guy could really hurt your hitting lineup.
Hernandez could be bad, average, or great this year. Last year he was average. In his first game this year he was great, but it's only the first game. I would take back that offer now if I were you before it's too late.

Ichiro is a really good fielder and scores quite a bit, I would not trade him period. Hernandez is still to unreliable in his young age to trade that much.
