It's always tough to suggest books for someone you don't know and someone you have no clue what their interests are, but having said that, yes, I have read a couple of them and found "She's Come Undone" okay, a fairly easy read and it has it's good points, although it's not super mature and advanced. "Tipping the Velvet" is about the same, a bit sappy but over-all readable.
