Even though i am not really a fan (ever since eddie george left) they can contend with some of the best teams if Young keeps playing the way he does. I have a feeling they will make out pretty good in this years draft.

Slim chances. Vick did good too when he was young... and then teams figured out how to beat him. Young is just in the AFC and not too many teams have faced a great running QB in the past few years there. Loosing their starting wide out hurts a lot. In fact they really dont have any good wide receivers now. Their running game doesnt look very promising either. If they get Turner that would be a plus but he is still unproven as an every down week to week back. Pacman Jones is getting suspended and that will hurt them a lot on defense and especially special teams. They are in the same position as last year... lucky if they go 8-8. Im not a hater... Young is just that YOUNG and needs to develop the team got alot of breaks. I mean Vinny Testiverdi threw a TD pass in the last game of the season their defense is weak.

Heck Yes! I LOVE the Titans. Im a huge fan. Vince Young is a beast. He will carry the team. Our defense is getting better also. They are getting some big names, such as Nick Harper. I think they willl be legitimate contenders if we can have a good running game, not only from Vince Young, but from a running back. That is why I think they should draft Marshawn Lynch. If they cant get him, I think they should get Dwyane Jarret so Vince Young has another receiver to pass to downfield. Playoffs next year!

Yes, VInce will probably win 4 or 5 games single-handedly just like last year. The Colts just won the super bowl, and are not as hungry as they were last year. The Jaguars are in and out. And the Texans.....they're just the Texans. If they pick up a good receiver like Dwayne Bowe from LSU, then it's playoff time for the Titans.

Coming from someone who lives proper outdoors of Nashville and keen on the crew, i imagine the Titans could have a a lot harder time merely getting decrease back to eight-8 this season. The misplaced of Travis Henry became very wide misplaced. Now the operating recreation is amazingly questionable with the likes of harm-companies Chris Brown and untested rookie Chris Henry. LenDale White's mission..... properly, I merely enable that on my own. besides, without the operating recreation, Vince youthful will be required to do more advantageous than what i imagine he ought to prefer to do, exceptionally with him being a gentle quarterback. it is going to likely be undemanding for opposing defenses to spotlight youthful, if the crew is one dimensional. Vince youthful won't be able to extremely carry the Titans on his shoulders the full season. The crew also misplaced its 2 optimal receivers in Bobby Wade and Drew Bennett. The receivers will also be questionable besides. The misplaced of Adam Jones for the season will make issues complicated for the crew's particular communities and secondary. Rookie, Michael Griffin became extra in the optimistically help in the secondary, yet with him being a rookie in the dep. that the crew is in, Peyton Manning is probable rubbing his fingers with exhilaration on the prospect to attempt this youthful guy. speaking of Manning, the dep. is likewise a difficult one with the likes of the Colts and Jaguars. Even the Texans look to made some advancements..... a minimum of on paper evidently like it will be an progression. Hoping that I incorrect, i imagine the crew will finally end up with 8 wins at perfect.

I do. Some of the plays Vince Young made last season were so awesome - I'm not a Titans fan but I'm a Vince Young fan if that makes sense. I think the Titans will defiantly be a force to be reckoned w/ this season -

With a good draft and Vince young gaining one more year's experience under his belt, provided he does not have a sophomore jinx, I think Tennessee is a contender .

if young can lead them to 8-8 in his rookie year, then yes i do believe the titans can be contenders next year. not superbowl contenders but theyll be in the playoffs for sure. especially if they get a good WR with the 19 pick. either meachem or ginn should help them out a lot. they also need DB help since dumb@ss pacman is gone.

Contenders of what? They could be contenders for the playoffs, division lead, Super Bowl.
I dont think they are that good to be contenders for anything. YET.
