Are there any recent polls that ask Americans if Saddam was involved in 9/11 and if Al Qaeda was being harbored in Iraq by Saddam prior to 9/11? (Both of these things are FALSE by the way.)

While 85% said the U.S. mission is mainly “to retaliate for Saddam’s role in the 9-11 attacks,” 77% said they also believe the main or a major reason for the war was “to stop Saddam from protecting al Qaeda in Iraq.”
THESE SOLDIERS BELIEVE THINGS THAT ARE DEMONSTRABLY FALSE. ARE THERE ANY RECENT POLLS THAT SHOW HOW MANY PEOPLE STILL BELIEVE THESE GOP LIES?
IT CERTAINLY HELPS ME UNDERSTAND WHY SOME PEOPLE STILL SUPPORT THE LIE-BASED QUAGMIRE IN IRAQ. THEY HAVE BEEN FOOLED.

there is a good 5 percent probably that still just support Bush's policies (whatever they may be) for the amazing tax cuts...

I thought AL QAEDA is who was behind 911, which is why we sent special forces to Afghanistan just weeks after the 911 attacks. The goal of invading Iraq over 17 months later was to eliminate the threat that Saddam Hussein posed with his continued defiance of UN Resolution 1441, and the belief that he could potentialy supply terrorist organizations with weapons of mass destruction.

Other than a SLANTED poll by a liberal foreign service...show me PROOF..not OPINION which is what the article you liniked to was That Saddam was not helping and protecting Al-Qreda..we had intelligence from the CLINTON era that showed they were training there and being assited from Saddam...
