When you are ready to forgive. (not forget) If it is a deal-breaker, don't do it. You have to have some standards. But if you can put yourself in the same situation and see where you might have made the same mistake, you might be able to grant that second chance.

When the offense is not bad enough to really end a friendship or relationship, when the person has a good excuse/reason for doing what they did, and when the idea of cutting the person out of your life is more painful than the actual offense.

Whenever I feel that the first chance wasn't enough.

When I feel he/she worth it & that may be I misjudged him/her in the 1st place.
