I live in a double wide. I have for 16 years, still have the same carpet, most appliances have been replaced, we do have trouble hanging things on the wall, I really don't think there is as much wood in them as they claim. But overall I am very satisfied, because they really have improved them since we bought one, automatic home without the Headache.

Glorified house trailers but a good alternative for house ownership if you don't have a lot to spend. Depreciate fast, though.

My friend bought one recently and it's very nice with a full basement. The house is spacious, modern with many upscale features.

They are not bad. My friends have a one, and it is very nice. It doesn't look like a trailer at all. It looks like a house, very spacious house.

Cheap and fast. I've built them before, and there's no way I'd live in one. Stick built is the only way to go.

A lot of them don't look much different and can be much better quality than stick builts.
