Intelligence is a result of exercising the mind. If someone doesn't bother to try to learn things, then they'll be a dummy.
Brain size and intelligence have nothing to do with one another.

Not all adults have the same size brain. Intelligence is related to brain size, but in humans, other factors dominate. Some brains are just more capable of abstract thought. This is mostly heredity. Some brains are damaged by injury, malnutrition, disease, or drugs. Most are simply 'rusty' because their owners don't bother to train them or use them.
You were lucky enough to be born as a member of a species with the most capable brain known to man. You can't do anything about your heredity. But you can make the best use of what you have. Eat well, skip the drugs, and train and use your brain. For most people, it's your best tool for earning a living.

It isn't the size of the brain - it's the number of connections made IN that brain... there's also training involved - if you're *taught* to think a certain way, odds are you will continue to use those thought processes throughout your life. So, a kid being taught a very limited range of subjects will be viewed as "less intelligent" than another that was taught not only a wide range of subjects, but is introduced to different ways of thinking about them - even though both possess the same size & weight of brain.
It's not just the computer you have - it's how you program it, too.

Brain size does not correlate with intelligence. Blue whales have the largest of all brains. Some people carry an intelligence trait which allows for different wireing of the brains neurons. It was recently discovered that Albert Einstein's brain had an excessive amount of "white matter", material that previously was thought to be just support tissue for the thinking part of the brain. Of course, intelligence itself is a contrived notion. Ability to do math does not necessarily equate to being more intelligent than someone who can play billiards exceptionally. It depends on how you define intelligence.

It is not the size of the brain that matters but the length of the forehead. If it is extremely short , like the Neanderthaler then the person will be smarter than thje average person.
