Do you guys actually read that Bible you're constantly waving in our faces? I'm pretty sure Jesus taught compassion and tolerance, so where does it come from?
I always hear God this, God that, the Bible says...
But when you're talking or expressing opinions they're always negative and filled with hate. Why is that?
Why are the conservative mouthpieces for the Republican party also constantly engaged in hateful speech?
Hannity, Limbaugh, O'Reily, and Coulter are always saying rediculous crap that's as negative as it gets. I sincerely cannot remember a single instance, from any of them, where they were being encouraging or saying nice things.
Conservative means you value morals and ethics, right?
So why don't you have any?

You have to lump peope together because I do not have enough time, nor points to ask each person individually.

I think you're making a VERY big mistake by grouping ALL republicans together. We all know that within every group of people, there's some smaller group that takes things to the extreme. I'm sure not ALL muslims are terrorists - but the ones that ARE sure make it difficult for the rest of us to see things differently. I could go on about democrats, republicans, christians, you name it. The squeaky wheel gets the grease...or the publicity in this case. It's just politics...all a dirty little game to mess with our minds. Wise up :)

One, I don't wave the bible in anyone's face! I don't try to convert anyone and I find trying to convert people, particularly atheists, a waist of time. Actions speak much louder than words and treating people with compassion and tolerance is much more likely to convert "non believers" then criticizing and condemning them or even preaching to them.
I had always thought that liberals/Democrats were the ones who believed in love and togetherness, but that has not been my experience here on Y!A. In fact, I am still surprised at how much hatred and anger you have. Your collective hate of the President, for example, has caused people like Dan Rather to fabricate information about the President and lost Dan the respect as a journalist that he had developed over 40 years. He may be the biggest example, but you people do that sort of thing all the time. You absolutely refuse to hear anything but what you want to believe and you will not have an actual discussion.
One of the things I had hoped to gain out of my time on Y!A was to find out why liberals/Democrats believe what they do and to have discussion, whether here or emailing back and forth. I have tried 4 or 5 times but each time, regardless of how respectful I have tried to be, I have been insulted and dismissed.
I believe, from my experience here and my encounters with people like you, that liberals are the ones who lack morals and ethics, though they often point to themselves as the moral examples.

Wow draw close on mate. we could get one element immediately from the initiating. non secular human beings use it to justify their hatred/bigotry of issues (like homosexuality). people who're genuine to their faith do no longer act in the form of vogue. people who do are misusing faith for his or her very own end and are not following the classes of that faith. i could no longer trust homosexuality yet i do no longer hate people who're homosexuals, God made us all distinctive and who am I to tell a guy or woman their sexuality is incorrect as long as they do no longer anticipate me to grow to be gay there is not any subject. Spiritually I do sense homosexuality is against Gods will. God and Jesus let us know to love others they do no longer say with the excepting of homosexuals

I am Conservative. My religious life is private and I practice it quietly and privately. I do not wave Bibles at people nor go around quoting scripture and/or preaching. I believe in common moral decency and I live by example. I am not perfect and I don't claim to be. I challenge you to go through my answers and find where I've used hatred. I also challenge you to cite specific examples of hatred coming from the "mouthpieces" you mention. Please do not confuse hatred with difference of opinion or with humor.

Why do Liberals get on here day after day and tell us how we are full of hatred and bigotry? It's a lie , you are misinformed.. I watch Hannity and O'Reilly.. I listen to Limbaugh and I think you are mistaken on your claims, usually what you are seeing is The three making sure the truth is told and not spun by the Liberals. And I remember watching footage of Ann Coulter making a speech at a college and seeing her being attacked and rushed by a group of Liberals.. that's not being "NICE" like you try to portray them. It goes both ways... only difference is Cons have more facts to back it up with... Libs talk out of their A$$

Josh, by grouping all Republicans together and making an across the board accusation you are engaging in a form of bigotry yourself. And, what is the basis for your statement that Republicans are "much more often engaged in hatred and bigotry"? I know some pretty hateful conservatives.

I've been asking this for a long time.
Religion is the reason so many wars are fought.
People use religion to disguise the fact that they are filled with hate, and desire to inflict death and destruction on those around them.
I'm not saying ALL religious people of course. My grandparents are missionaries in Africa, build bible colleges. Kudos to them. But some use religion in all the wrong ways.

You know at first I did not understand how you could say things that were so incorrect. Now I know!
The democrats have just come up with a brilliant way to deal with the war on terror. Define it away! (see link)
Now I get it. You guys can just redefine conservatives, too!

the religious right has one disastrous passage in the bible that continually gives them problems. you won't hear them quoting it very often ... rather, they'll go for the "eye for an eye" thing.
That quote is from somebody relatively important in their religion who said something like: "Whatever you do for the least of my brothers, that you do for me" ... In the world of politics, the religious right wants to interpret that as "What ever you do for my big business buddies and my campaign contributors .... "

You are mistaking this batch of neo-cons for conservatives.
They don't care about the freedoms that our forefathers died to protect. They want to silence dissent, and call it patriotic.
They want to continue the occupation of a country that continues to bleed resources from our nation that could be better spent actually protecting this country by going after terrorists.
They have pledged allegiance to Dubya, and his batch of miscreants.
The time has come. Impeachment.
