The Democrats have a hundred cool nicknames for us like neo-cons.. I am going to start making some for them, like the Femocrats considering their gay rights stance, or how about the Democraps for all the crap they spew when trying to be elected or my favorite Demogog, considering their great use of demogogy when trying to gain power. Is this over the top???

Collectivist pretty much sums it up. I like the term because it points out that even if somehow once you realize that to achieve the Democrats' stated ends, the means require statism, you still think it's worth the tradeoff, once the machinery is in place it is there to be used by whoever comes to power and will ultimately fall in the hands of the lowest common denominator.

Neocons does not apply to all Republicans. Neither does liberal to all Democrats. There are some Democrats with fairly conservative fiscal views but still identify themselves socially as liberal and vice versa.

I'm not stooping to their level. If they choose to behave like children, that's their business.

At least Democrats actually can be "cool".

"Is this over the top?"> NO, just typical Republican sour grapes.
