...mail and newspaper on hold when you go on vacation?
My brother left Saturday...I forgot to get all his mail until yesterday (WHOOPS!). We don't do that, we just let it pile up in the mailbox.

The problem with leaving it piled in your mailbox and several papers left on your porch, is that some people who are undesirable characters, watch for that sort of thing. Maybe you live in a small town, safe neighbourhood.

I have a locked mailbox, so I let it pile up if I'm gone for just a few days.

If I'm gone longer than that, I put it on hold.
