WRITING. Animals seem to have ethics among them, societies, hierarchies, technology of a fashion, adaptation, language, and laughter. They do not have the ability to form a written system of communication. Monkeys who write learned it from men.

It may not be the answer you are looking for, but I can't think of one. Animals have societies, language (not as complex perhaps), they use tools.

Perhaps, but this is pushing it, the word might be MORALS.
