Not all of them do, Why do some black people try to make themselves look lighter ? if they are too black ? Like Michael Jackson

These things are completely unrelated. There is no such reasoning as "I want to go to a tanning booth so I can be more like black people". SOME white people tan because they feel they look better that way. They still do not appear to be black.

SOME white people hate black people, and some black people hate white people.... SO.... what's your point?

Personally, I hate idiots, whether you're a white idiot or a black idiot.... who tans or not....

IDIOT.

ok, all I would desire to do is click on your call and notice you answering numerous questions with how white human beings smell and are gruesome, and are this and that. you're bored with it, yet you may dish it out, hmm? i'm specific you will use the "they started it" argument which replaced into everyday in grade 2. besides i do no longer dislike any race, merely persons. you're a hypocrite, and that i discover them stressful. i could sense a similar way approximately you however your race is. i can not communicate for different white human beings. some are merely immediately up racist or sense a faux experience of superiority. some think of what they see in video clips and tv is a correct mirrored image of the full black community, so as that they are merely ignorant.

I agree with the being comfortable with yourself comment however I don't agree with the fact that white people hate black people. Perhaps there are some white people that hate black people, but not all white people fall under that category.

And, white people go get tans because they want darker skin. It has nothing to do with wanting to be something they aren't. If they choose to do so, why should you care?! It's their business.

Generalizing for nonsense.. quit it. People are people. Everyone want to do things to themselves, that's what makes people unique. We all do 'strange' things.. so what? It's our body, we are the ones to deal with it. Not you.

I am a Native American with facial piercings..and I get judged all the time.. I am not a freak.. I just like it.. and so what if I am? It's my body, I made the decision, I am the one to live with it.

Tanning and black people.. they are two seperate issues.. I have a anglo friend.. She looks down on colored people, but she loves Motown music and I am her friend.. go figure.. and she is a professional woman.. Does that make her a racist? Her husband is even a non-anglo.. I jokingly tell her, to look at her own color.. they are so much the same.. because we are all people.. that's it..we are just people..

They tan because healthy skin is a nice olive shade, not pale and pasty. White is also the colour of death in many countries and cultures, specifically China and far East Asian nations. Also, why do white people think their freckles are cute? Seriously, dermal imperfections aren't desirable.

Tanning doesn't change their ethnicity to black, it just makes their skin tone a little bit darker. They're still clearly white though. I don't think it has anything to do with whether or not they like black people.

Sorry, white person here who does not hate black people. Most people tan because they believe the look better and being in the sun raises our serotonin levels. Making us feel better.

A darker skin color is associated with health and vitality. Trouble is, forcing oneself to become that way through over-exposure to the sun or tanning beds leads to the worst of ill health, cancer.

Tanning booth and hating black people are two different things..ur question makes no sense. Your statement though is right all tanning does is causes skin cancer. So i agree we should be happy with ourselve but your question sucks!

it's not really a matter of not being uncomfortable with who you are with me anyway, but for most white people, all that i know, we like to tan outside or tanning salons, because it does alot of good too, not just teh risk of skin cancer. Tan skin always looks better, it dries blemishes up for most, it hides alot of imperfections, skin spots, age spots, and even strech marks for a lot of people the more you tan. I guess it makes you look prettier, i don't know, i just personally think that i look better and my skin looks better when i have a tan.
