Yes, it's a guy thing. You wouldn't understand.

Nope it depends on the person not the gender... my grandma, dad and little sister collect a lot of clutter. Both love to go to rummage sales and can not pass up a bargain, even if they will never need what they bought (they all say someone will need one at some point and then I will have one). But my brother, older sister and I are more minimalists.

My granddad's really one for collecting clutter. He has a huge workshop and it is just filled top to toe with..... cr*p!!

Margarine tubs, washers he found on the floor, bits of rope, potato sacks, off-cuts of wood, old bicycle tyres that are no good, cracked tiles, corks, hundreds and hundreds of plant pots, etc, etc. U name it.... he's got it!!

But stupid thing is, with him being a man and so having a rubbish memory AND being old and so having a rubbish memory, he can still remember the exact precise spot where all his clutter is. How??? It baffles me!

Any women I've lived with have been Clutter Queens. I'm male and a minimalist.

I know my man does, I don't know what he needs it all for but I guess I probably do the same thing. Maybe it's a unisex thing. I think most of women's clutter is in their handbags.

Men ARE clutter .. we could do with special man cupboards where we can shove them when they get in the way and make the place look untidy.

"They" say that we seek relationships with those who will cure us ... Every man in my life is (and has been) a neat freak ... like military clean ... and I'm an "Explosion". Comical match 4 sure.

I think my "Ex" was very therapeutic in his efforts to get me to make my bed, and keep clothes off the floor. I'm not a "Federal Disaster" anymore, but certainly, haven't made that leap to military clean. God bless him 4 that.

I can't speak for all men, but I certainly do. Haven't had a clean work space my entire life. I've always attributed that to my OCD, though, not my gender.

I am the worst. House, loft, workshop, garage, parent's shed full and a neighbour's barn rented. I don't suppose you have a couple of hundred square foot spare, do you?

Oh yes!!!
My Husband is a nightmare for it.
He won't throw anything away 'in case it comes in handy'
I have to sneak stuff into the bin...and hope he doesn't find it or he'll retrieve it for 'later'
