Hi

You are right in having a shower every day. Some people just tend to sweat more than others... or some peoples sweat can just smell stronger than other peoples.

Some tips you can do to help is obviously continue showering everyday.... apply roll on deodarant (applying talc after the deo has dried helps too) and carry a scented body spray deodarant with you at all times - you can always apply some when you need it that way.

Make sure that you wear a clean top everyday as sweat clings to clothes badly.
Wear natural fabrics like cotton as you will find you dont smell so much this way as you wont sweat as much in them.

Man made fabrics hold sweat and it smells far worse for some reason.

People can smell more due to hormones. I notice my sweat smells worse when im on my period for instance. So if you are a teenager then your hormones will be buzzing causing it all to be worse. It should settle as your hormones do.

..and finally to add - certain foods can make you smell worse and I dont mean breath wise. For example garlic comes out through your pores in your skin when you sweat so this can make you smell worse if you eat a lot of garlic etc.

Yeah, I would say going to a doctor might help. If you are taking care of everything on the hygiene end of things then there might be a health reason for it.

Have other people remarked on it or are you mostly self-conscious of your natural scent?

Sometimes what you eat can cause BO. Garlic, onions, even too much alcohol and of course cigarettes, but I'm guessing this isn't the culprit?

I had a friend who didn't have this problem exactly - it was more to do with uncontrolled sweating, and it was really hard on her. I wouldn't suppose anything could have been done about that but she saw a doctor and he fixed the problem.

My own favorite product is Shower To Shower body powder.

Good luck --

BEST ANSWER HERE> lol just kidding. Actually I think it may be from the cologne you are using. If guys are anything like us ladies (and I'm sure you are, we all have human DNA) certain perfumes or colognes can react with your body chemistry and turn "sour" on your body. I'm 37 yrs old and I learned a long time ago that I can't wear any kind of perfume or body spray. It smells good at first but after a few minutes it sours on my body and makes me smell bad. Try switching colognes, or not wearing any cologne at all, just deodorant.

What the heck are you eating? Do you eat a lot of garlic, or onions? That may be a big part of it. Go to a health food store and get some of that body cleanse, it's for you insides. And while your there check out some ideas on healthy alternatives for your food and deodorant choices. Good Luck

#1 spicy food does make you smell. Everything we put into our bodies comes out through our bodily excretions including sweat.
#2 make sure you are using a strong Deoderant and not Antipersperant.
#3 try a cleanse, every morning before eating anything, drink a glass of water with 1/2 a lemon squeezed into it.. this will beging to cleanse your liver.

there may be a physical reason for your smell. try using a deodorant soap like Dial or a different deodorant. are your clothes clean when you put them on? it might be the food you eat. if you eat a lot of garlic or other spicy food, it gets into your bloodstream and comes out your pores. talk to a doctor.

It may because of the foods you eat and environment you live in. Perhaps your house smells alot like food, pets, or whatever odors and you don't realise it since you're so used to it.

The smell could also come from your clothes, sheets, bedding. So make sure you wash things regularly, instead of masking odors with perfume.

If you are doing all the above and still smell, you really should see a doctor as there could be an underlying medical condition causing this.

definitely wear deodarant not antiperspirant...a study just came out that since the antiperspirant keeps sweat in your body, it prevents the cancer causing toxins that usually leave through sweat to stay in

I've head of this before. You should go to your doctor. It's probably a medical condition and they can help you.
