Frank's on the money. It's a crappy slang word that's been around before I was born. To be politely technical its the open prairie where the bears and antelope play. In other words, the area between #1. and #2. on a females bottom

Frank has it right. Many guys actually have a large bulge there when fully erect---a lot of guys thing the bulge is the base of the penis, but it is not, really muscle tissue. If you bend your legs up, spread open, you should be able to feel the bulge. Also a great place to rub and excite yourself.
