its not garth or tim...its a man and woman...older song...and some lyrics go...'God knew what he was doing when he ....(as in put us together)...

LXV - Don't take the girl is Tim McGraw. I do not know the song from the above question but it is NOT Garth Brooks unanswered prayers or don't take the girl.
