Straight afterwards you'll still have a bit of a bump altho a softer one. how fast you get your tone back depends on a lot of things, as everyone is different. it will seem a bit baggy shall we say, but it is repairable, if a bit of a task to do.

it is possible to regain a flat stomach tho if you try hard.

Well, it all depends. Right after you give birth, you will still look pregnant for a while. But, I've always been petite, with a fairly flat stomach. I was lucky enough not to get any stretch marks. Now, my baby is 1 1/2 and I'm back to my original flat stomach, and even skinner than before. But I attribute that to staying constantly busy, and breastfeeding. I'm still breastfeeding, and she just sucks down those calories! It's great!

But, I exercise, too. You can't get a flat stomach just by sitting around eating cheeseburgers.

The only way that i could really describe my belly after having my son is it looked like a deflated ballon seriously with stretchmarks because i was not one of those lucky girls that didn't get them!!! but sonn your stomach goes back to normal and if you exercise your stomach should be the same and if not do expect your belly to be a lil saggy!!! well hope this helps!

it definitely won't be the most attractive attribute of your physical appearance, but the reality is you just housed a newborn child in that thing for "9-10 months" depending.. right? so how would one expect it to look?

with proper diet and exercise after the baby, you should start to see it go back to normal over the first six months.. for some people however, it takes years to get back into shape after a child. :/ it depends on the person really, and how much they want to work on their body.

It depends, everybodys bodies are different. Unfortunately mine marked quite bad but other people don't seem to get affected by it. I suppose the best thing to do is to moisturise your stomach or rub cocoa butter into it to keep the skin supple whilst it stretches to accommodate your baby. After it's quite saggy but plenty of exercise will help to get things back on track. No matter what, love your body and if it marks so what, it because of a beautiful reason, a wonderful child for you. Congratulations

think about a deflated balloon all stretched out. It will take a while to get back to its normal stomach . and after labor you look like your at the end of your first trimester. you stomach muscles were stretched and some torn, after about 6 weeks after the birth of your baby you can start working on getting back to normal. By the way breast feeding helps you lose you baby weight.

They say you should expect to still look 5-6 months pregnant when you leave the hospital. Your uterus will probably continue to have light contractions as it shrinks back down to size.

After about 6 weeks you'll be as normal as you can be-- just with any extra fat storage you packed on that you will have to lose.

Mine looked and felt like Jello. Nasty, wrinkly, and saggy.I had 10lb babies, and wasn't a big girl to begin with, so I had/still have a trillion stretch marks.

Dang kids, ruin us from the get-go.

Mine was saggy and wrinkly but you can make it go away most of the time. I worked out but it didn't make it completely go away. I'm hoping after this pregnancy I'll have better luck with it.

Saggy but hopefully things should go back to normal if you stick to a healthy eating plan and maybe a little tummy exercise.
