Give him time.
If he was born LGBT, he will eventually come to terms with this.
If he was born straight, same thing.

Either way, I'm sure you will go on loving him as before. After all, he is still your son.

Good luck!

He might not be gay. I know some guys that you would easily think were gay, and they're some of the most skirt chasing guys I know. We have competitions to see who can get the most numbers (I always win, because I just walk up to girls and say, "I'm in a competition to see who can get the most numbers with that guy over there. Could I write your's down, you won't have to get a call." It works and I win.)

first of all not enough info,

is his crushes on girls he goes to school with or girls on television??

no being effeminate is what american boys have become in the last two decades, as gay is more accepted, the youth of today doesn't or isn't afraid to express emotions like they were 30 years ago. earrings, hairstyles, clothes are all becoming as one these days.

you can either do two things

let him tell you himself

or you can sit him down and ask, but first let him know you love him no matter what

or you can kick him out like so many ignorant parents do and be doomed for hell, like other religious freaks and haters, they all go to hell

Firstly, my friend, referring to your son as 'a gay' might not help him, whoever he is. Please be aware of that, OK?

Also - a man can be effeminate without being homosexual.

And, how old is your son? If he's like, thirteen, don't worry. If he's reaching his late twenties, hasn't ever had a girlfriend and wears a lot of pastel, maybe ask him again in a nicer tone of voice.

And guys, this is Jovovo telling you she didn't mean that all gay men wear pastel! Despite how incredibly handsome y'all look in it!

Good luck with your son!

Being effiminate in this day in age doesn't necessarily mean that a person is gay. Luckily, many guys aren't that concerned with being a macho man anymore.

A guy who acts feminine does not mean he's gay any more than a tom boy has to be a lesbian.
What's your question, by the way?

Acting effeminate and being sexually attractive to men can co-exist without the other and there are very manly gay men out there.

Believe it or not, but not all guys that "act gay" are gay. Another shocker- not all guys that "act straight" are straight. There are gay professional football players, and there are straight male hairstylists.

So? What's your point?

Seriously, leave hi, alone and let him live his own life. As long as he's happy, healthy and safe!
