how can i remove .scr from word files?

Question

some virus has been attached to all my .doc word files
i have tried many antivirus but it just results in deleting my .doc file

i dont want to lose my .doc file and even dont give much priority in reformating my pc
please help me

rename them , that is rename the extension,
if they are in one directory then you can do it in 5 seconds :

open a dos bok : Srart -> Run -> cmd ->OK
in the black box navigate to the directory
wheere your .src files are.
then Type REN *.src *.doc
that should be enough.
