You need to see the movie and then pick your favorite disorder from the collection represented by the inmates of the asylum. I don't think the movie is about a disorder as much as it is about disorder against the establishment. It has great entertainment value but I doubt it has any social significance or educational value relating to psychology. It was written by a college student in the early 60s who was using LSD at the time and worked as an orderly in a nut house while going to school. Ken Kesey published one other book a couple of years later as he let the drugs end his career. Maybe the story and disorder are in the author not the work that is fiction and created under the influence of mind altering chemicals. I have seen the movie several times and enjoy it. It is too bad the author didn't really.

Great movie! If you haven't already seen it, I suggest you do. It's been awhile since I've seen the film so I forget their names and the disorders. You can easily do a search online or check out this http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0073486/board/threads/ OR http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0073486/board/thread/70082562 .. it looks like someone had the same question as you. Alot of these people are big fans, so they probably have more information off the top of their heads.

There are several - personally I would choose the dissociative behavior of the "Indian".
