Simon doesn't appear to be one who can walk the walk, he looks like one who enjoys telling someone else how good or bad their voices are. It would be good to see how good or bad his voice is and let America decide...

Nice one... yeah simon and randy are like annying this season bc to me the are Contradicting themselves.. the go wont you to do it this way but when some one does sing that way - its it wasnt good for me LOL Simon singing tht would be hilarious but hey you never know he might can carry a tune

Of course he can't sing, nor does he claim this ability. He does claim to be able to pick talented singers from a crowd, and I'd say he's correct, given the amount of money he has made for record labels over the years.

I just want to say i like simon cowell, hes the only reason the show is any good. I kno hes harsh at times even cruel, but in his defence the music industry is HARSH and CRUEL, and for the record simons NOT a singer so why should he have to sing. Hes a music producer who knows wut hes talking about, there lookin for the best and the best should be able to handle wut comes to them if they want to be on top.

No he can not sing. He's stated that on shows that he is completely tone deaf. He is a brilliant producer. I've heard this on news and other programs. His opinion is much valued in the industry.

I've wondered that many times myself, but it doesn't really matter as long as he keeps looking so handsome in his black shirts!!
But, seriously, one doesn't necessarily have to be good themself at whatever they're judging. For example, I can think someone's new haircut/style looks terrific over a botched one ... yet I wouldn't dare try cutting someone's hair!!

I read an article in Playboy where he admitted he can't sing at all. He's just in it for the business and talent scouting. So yeah, I'd love to see him stand up and be totally embarrassed.

He's not a singer he even admitted to that. It really doesn't matter anyway because he is a Record Producer. It's his job to know what sells and what doesn't.
