What do most people make for after Easter dinner desserts? Is there something traditional I can make? Either cake , pie or some kind of pudding?

I am making the best bananna pudding for Easter this year. The sweetened condensed milk is what makes it so much better than traditional banana pudding. Here is my recipe:

Banana Pudding

INGREDIENTS:
1 (14 ounce) can EAGLE BRAND® Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk)
1 1/2 cups cold water
1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
2 cups whipping cream, whipped
36 vanilla wafers
3 medium bananas, sliced and dipped in
lemon juice from concentrate

DIRECTIONS:
In large mixing bowl, combine EAGLE BRAND® and water. Add pudding mix; beat until well blended. Chill 5 minutes.
Fold in whipped cream. Spoon 1-cup pudding mixture into 2 1/2-quart glass serving bowl.
Top with one-third each of the vanilla wafers, bananas and pudding. Repeat layering twice, ending with pudding mixture.
Chill thoroughly. Garnish. Store leftovers covered in refrigerator.

A nice cream pie, like banana cream or coconut cream is traditional. There are so many treats in the Easter basket, dessert for dinner is often overlooked! Coconut is very traditional around Easter for some reason. A pretty coconut cake would be good. Or carrot cake, since the Easter Bunny likes carrots! My mom always used to make a bunny shaped cake like the recipe below:

Easter cake is a good choice. White cake with white icing and color sprinkles on the top.

My mother-in-law makes angel food cake and frosts it with pink or yellow whip cream. I serve it with chocolate bunny truffles on the side. A very nice, light dessert.

You can get sugar cookies at a bakery and then just buy frosting and sprinkles................kids can decorate them while the adults clean up after the dinner and make coffee to have with the cookies
