Check for a blown fuse and be more careful next time. I'll bet you already figured that out. huh?

pull every fuse out of your fuse box inside the car and the one under the hood. double check every fuse, using a flashlight even to check for hairline breaks.

most likely you just popped a fuse. but I say to check them all, cause I once bounced a short down a fuse box installing a radio, popped like 7 fuses on me.

my tip......always unhook the battery when working on your car stereo. if you have a monster cable running to battery for power, install a fuse at that point, removing the fuse, removes the power so you can work on your stereo system w/o risk.
