Yes, you should go make an apt. with your doc. & let her/him check you out, the symptoms you describe don't sound normal. When you say pain like a UTI, does that mean you have a burning sensation when you urinate?

Sounds like a Urinary Tract Infection, Bladder Infection, or some other sort of mild infection like chlamydia. The doctor will give you anti-biotics for it. There isn't really anything else you can take. Be warned that a UTI and bladder infection can get VERY painful very fast, but it sounds like you caught it early. Take Advil to ease any pain, drink as much water as you can... this will help keep the infection in control and ease the pain, but it won't get rid of it. Also, have lots of foods with anti-oxidants.. blueberries and cranberry juice are the best. Again, they won't get rid of it but they will help. Good luck!

Try the urination trick that another person mentioned, but also wash your vaginal area as soon as possible after sex with warm water and anti-bacterial soap.
If these things don't help, consider making an appointment with a doctor.
By the way, if you're not in a monogamous relationship (by your statement about different guys you're not), you should NOT be using an IUD as birth control. And if you are, you should be using a condom every single time. IUDs are not safe to use with multiple partners...just an FYI.

I get pain like that, but I don't have an IUD and never have. Yes I think you should see a doctor and explain to the doc what is happening. Because my pain could be do to something I'm not aware of. Also in my case I have always had very bad periods with bleeding and pain. It could be we have different problems.

I want to make sure I answer this right are you with one guy or more than one.. Because if I'm reading this question right you said.."I have intercourse (with certain guys) you have pain.
So right there that leads me to believe that you may have a infection or disease because if you are with different guys and this is happening then that may be your clue...
Now, if I'm reading it wrong I appologize....I'm not trying to call you nasty or anything I just wanted to make sure I was answering it right....Back to you...It could be a host of things...it can't hurt to get yourself checked out to be safe...
Good luck!

I would see your doctor. Some women are prone to UTIs after sex. I know... its just one more ailment women can add to getting their period and childbirth...
I used to get UTIs after sex... I know how you feel.
I haven't gotten them a lot recently.
Make sure you go to the bathroom before AND after intercourse. It will help clean the urinary tract to help prevent infections. AND if you can, i know that it is not always possible, I would try to shower (at least body shower) before you know that you will be having sex... maybe before you see him?

I would definitely say go to the bathroom before AND after sex, and see if that helps.
